Important Cancellation Terms & Policies

  • 30-Day Notice: If you decide to cancel your gym membership, we require at least 30 days’ notice. We will apply any billing charges scheduled within that 30-day window.
  • Early Termination Fee: If you cancel your gym membership before your agreement terms end, we will apply a $300 cancellation fee.
  • Fee Waivers: If you are still within your agreement terms, we will waive the $300 cancellation fee if you provide verifiable documentation for:
    • Qualifying relocation from a Carbon Performance location, as defined by your membership agreement terms
    • Medical reasons preventing participation
    • Military deployment

Need a Temporary Break? Try These Options Instead

If you are dealing with a temporary schedule change, relocation, or minor injury, consider freezing, transferring, or adjusting your membership instead of canceling:

  • Account Freeze: Pause billing temporarily without terminating your agreement or forfeiting your current rate lock.
  • Transfer Membership: If you are moving closer to another Carbon Performance location, you can transfer your membership to keep your contract active without canceling.
  • Plan Adjustment: Contact your current Carbon Performance club to switch to a tier that better fits your current routine.

Membership Cancellation FAQs

To cancel your membership, fill out the cancellation form on this page and choose the location where you hold your membership: Nations, Franklin, Atlanta, Charlotte, or Salt Lake City.

Cancellation requests are only submitted through the online form on this page or by e-mail. Once you submit it, a member of our team will follow up with you directly to finalize everything. If you’d like to talk through other options first, like switching to a tier that better fits your routine, contact your Carbon Performance club before you submit.

Our team will contact you within 24 to 72 hours of your submission to review your account and finalize the cancellation.

No, your Carbon Performance membership automatically converts to a month-to-month plan once your initial 12-month agreement expires.
